SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
AGS Plasma Systems, Inc. Engineers are available for start-up, preventive
and corrective maintenance, repair, retrofit, system evaluation and training services
required to maintain a variety of plasma equipment.
Our technical support products are designed to work
within any budget. For critical mission equipment support, we offer
comprehensive service agreements with attractive discounts for prepayment. On
those occasions when immediate service is required, we can be there for you on
a time and materials basis too.
An AGS Field Engineer will be dispatched to your
site as soon as a valid purchase order number is provided. For services
performed at and time spent in travel to customer
sites the following charges will apply:
STRAIGHT TIME: $195.00 per hour for field work
and $95.00 per hour for shop work done between 8:00 am and 5:00 PM with a
minimum billing of 4 hours.
PREMIUM TIME: $285.00 per hour for field work
done before 8:00 and after 5:00 PM Monday through Friday and for any hours
worked on Saturday, Sunday or on holidays.
TRAVEL TIME: $50.00 per hour for time spent traveling from the point
of origin to the customer's facility.
TRAVEL CHARGES: Airfare, auto rental or carfare, hotel
accommodations, parking, tolls and duties will be billed at
cost and verified by receipts. Subsistence will be
billed at a fixed rate of $38.00 per day. In lieu of airfare, 45 cents
per mile traveled will be charged if it is determined
by AGS that it is more convenient for the field engineer to drive than to use
commercial transportation to travel to the customer site.
OTHER CHARGES: Materials purchased from other suppliers will be billed at cost plus a 30% handling charge. Minimum
parts order is $100.00. Handling charges of up to 2% will be
added to all domestic parts orders. An expediting fee of $35.00 will be added if customer requests air-expressed, or
similar, services.
CANCELLATIONS: Service calls that are rescheduled at customer request
are subject to a 50% rescheduling charge which may be
credited to future service. Orders canceled or returned are subject to a
restocking charge of up to 100% of the sales price. Returns will
not be accepted without an RMA number.
